Good Week

Ahh, I finally got a new job...feels good doesn't it? Monday I attended my honors ceremony at the school since I'll be graduating this coming week with honors. There were only 8 others in the School of Sciences to graduate with honors, but there sure were a lot of people there watching the ceremony. Most everyone was dressed nicely, while I had been told "casual". My jeans and leather jacket just made me look that much cooler right?
That same day I also got a call from the University telling me that I got the web developer job I'd applied for about a month ago. Its not paying as much as most web developer jobs do, but its great experience, I get my own office (with a view), and I get State benefits. I haven't had insurance since I was 21 so dentist here I come! I'll be over the site, www.uscupstate.edu .
Tuesday I put in my letter of resignation at the hospital. I've come to find out my co-workers hate me now since before my resignation I was to cover all the upcoming holiday shifts, but now they will have to work them. I almost feel bad about doing that to everyone, but I did turn in my notice and I know a couple shots of Christmas liquor will have me feeling better.
Other than that, I found a kitten this week. He was waiting at my front door meowing and since it was so cold outside I decided to let him in....big mistake. Its hard to throw a cat back out to the cold so now I have a new cat. I ended up naming him Sake (like the wine), but I'm thinking about changing it to Chops.
Today is just another day at the hospital and since I don't have much time left here, I'm being kind of slack which is understandable. Until later......
